The Dance Ethiopia's dance dates back over 3000 years, and is a symbol of their mosaic culture.

The Wine Tej is a honey wine that is brewed and consumed in Ethiopia and Eritrea. It's flavored with the powdered leaves and twigs of gesho. The traditional vessel for drinking tej is a rounded vase-shaped container called a berele, which looks like a Florence flask.

The Food Ethiopian cuisine characteristically consists of vegetable and often very spicy meat dishes, usually in the form of wat, a thick stew, served atop injera, a large sourdough flatbread.

The Music The music of Ethiopia is extremely diverse, with each of Ethiopia's ethnic groups being associated with unique sounds. Some forms of traditional music are strongly influenced by folk music from elsewhere in the Horn of Africa

Almost 85% of the houses in Ethiopia are made of mud and stick or thatch walls. Most houses in rural areas have dirt floors, and very few rooms, some just one or two. In certain areas of Ethiopia people have a habit of painting their houses in bright colors, and some even decorate them with bright paintings.
